We started Engaging Story to strengthen and bring hope to marriages by using the art of storytelling. Each episode features a couples unique story filled with fun, inspiring & raw examples of what life is like after the fairytale ends and real life begins!
Our story began 3 years ago over coffee at a Christmas party in Seattle. It’s been an adventure ever since and we’re excited to strengthen our own marriage as we embark on this podcast.

Welcome to Engaging Story, I’m Matt, the Digital Content Manager for K-LOVE and Air1 Radio stations. I have over 15 years experience working for christian radio, record labels creating and managing digital content that is positive and inspires people to grow closer to the Lord. I recently married my beautiful and talented wife Rebecca and with her gained a daughter who should have her own YouTube channel because she is hilariously talented. We also have a toddler who has my “radio voice” and may be featured on some of our episodes in the background cooing, (yes, I also have hosted a radio show before in Seattle, WA on Spirit 105.3). I have had have the privilege to work with Christian artists such as Third Day, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Hawk Nelson and Steven Curtis Chapman. Storytelling is my passion and I can’t wait to guide you through stories of redemption and hope with my wife and show you that what was broken can be found and restored and that there is hope and a future for your marriage.
Thank you for joining Engaging Story. I’m Rebecca, a busy Mom with an active toddler and precocious 1st grader who loves singing Frozen songs all day log. I’m passionate about building and strengthening strong marriages that are centered on God’s grace for us. I have seen that there is a war on marriage and have also seen too many couples struggle to honor their marriage covenant, all while feeling isolated and alone. I want to let you know that if you are struggling in your marriage you are not alone and that there is hope. My background as a social worker that has counseled many individuals through life’s struggles will help guide each episode. My husband says I am the “softer side” to the podcast.
